Heating and cooling in Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant is a small Maury County city southwest of Columbia, with a historic downtown, older homes, newer houses and farms and rural property around town. That range means we work on everything from crawl-space furnaces in older houses to heat pumps on newer homes and all-electric systems on rural lots.
Common Mount Pleasant calls
- AC repair when long humid summers wear out capacitors, fan motors and older compressors
- Furnace, electric heat and heat pump repair on the first cold nights
- Crawl-space duct repair for musty air, disconnected runs and leaky returns
- System replacements sized to the house, with free estimates
- Mini-splits for additions, shops and rooms the main system does not reach
Older homes and crawl spaces
Many older homes here sit over crawl spaces, and ducts in a damp crawl space can pull musty air and moisture into the house when they leak. A system that cools without drying the air leaves a house that feels clammy even at a low set point. We check the ducts and the drain along with the equipment, because the fix is not always a new unit.
Mount Pleasant calls are dispatched from our Columbia office on North Garden Street. Call or text 931-682-6969. Free service call, free estimates and free second opinions.
