How do I read a Goodman serial number in Spring Hill?
On many Goodman, Amana, and Daikin cabinets from the mid-2000s on, the first two digits of the serial are the year and the next two are the week. 1508… is often week 8 of 2015. Confirm on the outdoor data plate. Photo it if the stamp is faded.
What refrigerant is in a 12-year-old heat pump in Columbia, TN?
Most 2010–2023 split systems around Maury County are R-410A. Units from the mid-2000s or older may still be R-22, which is no longer made. 2025-and-newer cabinets can be R-32 or R-454B. The lettering on the data plate is the only honest answer.
Why does my new-build Goodman keep tripping the float switch?
